Welcome

About Us
Rotary is a leadership organization made up of local business, professional & civic leaders. We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships & through that, we're able to get things done in our community.

The Rotary Club of San Marcos California is a service organization of professionals who are committed to volunteerism and regularly do service projects locally and internationally. Through our projects, we work to combat hunger, alleviate poverty, and promote health and education.

We are a member of Rotary International, which is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Please join us at our gathering!

Rotary Club of San Marcos California - Rotary Making History 100 Year CelebrationIn 2017 (10-14 June 2017) all of Rotary will celebrate the 100th birthday of Rotary International.  Can you celebrate within your own club?  Yes, but why not actually be there in Atlanta with all the other Rotarians from around the globe to celebrate together as one family.

In the last 100 years, Rotary has become a powerful moving force for giving the help that makes lives around the world more tolerable and provides hope for something better.  It is a reason for all of us to gather at the convention to share with each other the reason for being Rotarians and celebrating our many achievements as an organization.

The Rotary Foundation's 100th birthday party is open to all of us and will be held June 14.   You won't want to miss it.

Do you have a copy of Doing Good in the World, the story of the Foundation's first 100 years?  Do you plan to buy in the House of Friendship?  The author, David Forward, will hold a book signing at the convention.  As for how the Foundation became a global leader in humanitarian service, the Rotary Foundation Centennial exhibit at the House of Friendship will tell the story.

This is an opportunity that will come only once in our lifetime.  Join us in Atlanta; Celebrate with us!  Make your reservation today: Registration.

Rotary Club of San Marcos California - Peace Heros Walk in Carlsbad - March 19North County Rotarians, Jenny Parker and Dennis Reese have teamed up with Jerry Leggett from the Dayton, Ohio Rotary Club to celebrate peace heroes.  A Peace Heroes Walk in Carlsbad  is planned for  March 19, 2017 and is free and open to the public.  It is their hope that there will be a large Rotary presence at this event.  Mr. Leggett will be in San Diego for six weeks prior to the walk (mid-February to the end of March) speaking at a number of Rotary clubs and events.  He is also here promoting and recruiting members for the Rotarian Action Group for Peace.  Please contact Jenny Parker if you would like Jerry Leggett to speak to your club during the time he is here.  Jenny can be reached at Jenny@jparkermd.net
